can postman be suspicious?

Post by sirstabsalot »

suppose you get a lot of prescritpion medication delivere to you through the post, and it's fairly obvious cause it rattles... can the postman (who you get on with very well) report his/her suspicions or is he/she meant to mind his own business?

There are lots of perfectly legitimate reasons to receive tablets through the post so no it wouldn't be a reason to report it as suspicious just because it rattled.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If a postman did have reason to be suspicious that a crime was being committed, I would imagine that a lot of them would report the matter to someone. Maybe their manager, maybe the police.

I doubt that delivering a lot of pills, even if they knew they were pills, would be enough to make then suspicious though.

If you smell something like drugs (although I wouldn't know what they smell like!!) or notice wires or powder coming out of the package, then it needs carefully putting down and reporting to the DOM.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
