When will those at the top and the managers get it into their heads that the better you treat people the more work you get out of them. By bullying and intimidating us all you do is put our backs up , our morale is on the floor and in the end a job perhaps you used to love you couldnt give a toss about anymore.How sad is that!

This is so sad it doesnt help when you get bullied at work the bosses should all hang their heads in shame

I'm worried. Not only did I read it, but I replied to it, and I still clearly remember what he suggested. I'm doomed.
The reason for the increase in bullying by managers is they know they can get away with it! If a manager accuses you of threatening or abusive behaviour his word is unquestioned yet if you complain about a manager he is investigated by fellow managers who are not going to blame there fellow colleagues.
I could name many times where managers have openly lied through there back teeth without hesitating to think of the consequences for the accused postie. Lets face it most managers are inept and useless at managing staff so resort to threats and bullying to cover there own backs, i/e if a new way of working goes well and makes its targets its down to good managament, but if it goes wrong its down to lazy postmen/women not doing there job .
Of course you can see your local rep about it if you can drag them out of hiding!

There has been a few in the ST area. A couple of them made it known that their work life was where they had their problem, typically management did nothing to help ease their stress, if fact quiet the opposite.

You couldnt have put it better . The biggest bullies are the biggest cowards the managers are getting bullied by those above them and they are darent stick up to them for fear of their own jobs .
