Well not according to some on here macphee, they are chattering up a storm and the end result is...................well pretty much the same experience you've had, more meetings lined up. What was that advert again..........oh yes........."it's good to talk".............well for some it ismacphee1 wrote:Nothing has changed and I won't be holding my breath. The lead DSM was quite upfront in stating that they're new regional plan would target offices where they thought there were savings, and offices with minimal savings would be delayed as long as possible.
More chattering was planned at regional partnership meetings etc,but will anything come off it.It seems Royal Mail can do whatever they want.
My solution would be to suspend all revisions until these issues are dealt with nationally and then communicated by both sides to the front line, but we all know that ain't going to happen.
So in the meantime, the members in my office will carry on believing that Royal Mail are screwing them over, and they,re Is nothing the union can do about it.
The sad thing is It's true.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Hernbay has cleared for the last 2 weeks according to the news i heard today, got in touch with someone in the know what they have not been honest about is the casuals out number the staff!there are some other strange things going on to but i have someone looking into it first.
If this were true why were they asking for drivers to go and clear pkts all last week, and ramsgate this week, as i said in another thread pkts gone doooo la la this week
