Urgent! : Special Delviery Advice

Hi All -

I had a package posted to me today - special delivery. I checked the tracker earlier and it said "tracked when first reaches distribution center...come back later"

I just checked now and it says :

It's on its way

Your item with reference xxxxx is currently progressing through our network.

Your item is currently progressing through our network for delivery.

To check your item's progress please come back later.



Whenever ive had SD before the tracker always says "will be delivered before the gteed time on the (next day)"

Does this mean its going to be delayed?

I wouldnt normally be this bothered but the package is VITAL that i get it tomrrow!

When it says ITS ON ITS WAY, that means it has been scanned at the mail centre and now is heading for the delivery office. If you checked early in the morning it should say out for delivery. Cause the delivery office have to scan the item to. Hopefully it arrives for you.

The only thing thats un-nerving me is the fact every other SD item i have tracked on the day it was posted went through 3 stages:

Night it was posted
1) item is first tracked when reaches delivery center (or soething along those lines)
2) your item will be delivered before the g'teed time on the "next day"

Next day
1) your item will be delivered if it hasnt already... (or something similar)

The message im getting is something i havent seen before. sods law its the most important package ive needed all year :-)

I use special delivery a lot and it has changed a bit online, I find there is more detail than there was before. There's no question that the item has been scanned at the mail centre the night. When the person who posted the item, went to the post office they scanned the item and it should have read posted at such such address. When its scanned next it should read its on its way, the next scan should read out for delivery come back later. The next scan is rather the item is delivered or not. If delivered it should read delivered from are ....... delivery office.
