Royal Mail van in crash in Maidenhead

Shoppenhangers Road in Maidenhead was closed this morning after a Royal Mail van was involved in an accident with a blue VW Polo car just before 11.30am.

The driver of the van was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough with suspected head injuries.

Firefighters, who joined ambulance staff on the scene, were still working to free the trapped woman driver of the VW an hour after the accident happened, at 12.30pm.

I am very surprised that there aren`t more accidents with all the pressure that we`er getting to do more and more in less and less time , how long is it before some one is killed ???

What pressure?? Once you get it into your head that it's only a job and they CANNOT make you break the law then everything becomes much easier :Very Happy 30mph or less in built up areas, seat belt on at all times, engine off and keys out each time I stop - all comes together to make driving much more relaxed :nana

Why do you imply that the "driver of the van" was at fault not the "woman driver of the VW" ? :shock:

wasnt implying the the driver of the van was at fault, momentary lapse of reasoning there
