Welcome Mamajock.

Answers:

1. If he is in normal clothes then he is either a manager covering a duty as someone has gone sick. Or more likely he is a casual and is struggling to get round.

2. The time of delivery has not yet changed. My office we leave to do our rounds at 830 and finish around 1200 - 1230. This is going to change soon but only by an hour or an hour-and-a-half.

3. There is no normal time for post as it depends on who is doing your round and how they do it. Different posties do rounds in different ways. However most deliveries should be completed by around 2.00pm (even with the later start times). Give your local DO a ring and ask to speak to a manager and explain that you are getting your post late all the time. Hopefully they will be able to tell you why. They should also be able to advise if there is any backlog which is holding your cards up (however some banks use courier services these days to deliver the cards).

thats how sad things have gone im afraid.
years ago newbies had armbands to say who they were.
now it's any thing R/M can drag through the door that can walk, no ID, nothing
get in touch with customer services and voice your concerns about these delivery people and your lost mail.
hope this helps.

:cool Can you look on the package and confirm it is Royal Mail? Alot of people still think we the only ones delivering packets. :d'oh! And we get the blame for other couriers. Jeans and t-shirt! No english! Was he on a bike or driving a RED VAN? Something doesn't seem quite right here?
