the other question was
when have you been trusted with someone else.s property ?

had my interview last week ( my second one this yesr ) did,nt get the job ( again )

the interview seemed to go very well and i was very upbeat about getting on

begining to feel that maybe i will never get on ??

might try for the xmas casuals ( a foot in the door ) but its a lot less money

does anyone know how long i have to wait before re applying ( it used to be a month ) ???

Excuse the pun!

I worked in a supermarket for 17 years as a baker and finally leaving was the best thing I ever did. Anyone suggesting you get s job at Tesco or mcdonalds obviously have never worked in that environment, I have and it sucks. Also I was paid less as a skilled baker which requires a lot of training than I am now as a postie which takes 3 days training! Go figure!

Good luck with the interview, just be enthusiastic and say you live the outdoors, meeting people and walking!

Not 100% but it may be 6 months, also how the hell can you fail to get the job twice!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

sorry you did'nt get the job leeroy
i'm in the same boat and now have to wait a month before re-appling
they did'nt mention a waiting list this time ?
the email said wait six months but i rang them up and they said ignore that and re-apply in a months time.
another option might be to apply for xmas casual work as this would be experience and a foot in the door but it is £ 2 per hour less !!
anyway we can but keep trying -- at least we now know what to expect at the interview !!
