Now you're talking! A nice, elected commitee of workers and customers coming up with what each would like and wherever possible implementing the ideas. There's no reason why it couldn't be done in all industries. Get rid of the profiteers, the managerial dead wood, the inept office boys who imagine they are 'managers' and have the service run properly for once in its life.buzzer wrote:I think they should sack those 2 parasitic morons and let the union run RM. Be a sort of mini parliament wouldn't it - fix the prices to whatever suits us, fix the service to whatever suits us, fix the wages to whatever suits us, have a 4 month summer holiday, 1 month Xmas break, allowances, freebie trips - I'm sure it wouldn't be long before we got in the swing!!!!!!!!IWW Fellow Worker wrote:Now you're talking! You could fix the prices to suit all sorts of things except senseless bonus payments to the unproductive (i.e. managers), lottery win handouts to wide boys (Al and Ad) and wasting it on plasma screens for people to laugh at or ignore. There's no reason why holidays couldn't be increased a bit or why the working week couldn't be reduced to 30 hours with no loss of pay. I'm sure the customer would also prefer to have their mail by lunch time rather than two or three o'clock which is what Royal Mail is forcing on them, and us.dvbuk55 wrote:Be a sort of mini parliament wouldn't it - fix the prices to whatever suits us, fix the service to whatever suits us, fix the wages to whatever suits us, have a 4 month summer holiday, 1 month Xmas break, allowances, freebie trips - I'm sure it wouldn't be long before we got in the swing!!!!!!!!
