It'll be a reaction to the collapse in confidence about all things efficiently Japanese. "Where can we store 8000 tons of highly radioactive ;temperature volatile spent uranium/plutonium fuel rods? - Lets just put them smack on top of that BWR 500 reactor thingy that we built next to a major tectonic fault in a known tsunami region" You can't beat Japanese planning and efficiencycurlybap wrote:heard the canadian lady has knocked this wcm on the head.
I hope your right cause WCM is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen the sooner it's scraped the better all those involved are blue eyed arse lickers. If they can't pay us out our shares they pull out of WCM.curlybap wrote:heard the canadian lady has knocked this wcm on the head.

The reason they will carry on spending money on the WCM is simply because the proposed improvements will, in the long run, save move than the spending.
The difference this time is that most improvements are from the staff who have to deal with the problems daily, at least it should be!hubbahubba wrote:bit like P and L,and all the DO revisions did?Swinder wrote:It is still ploughing ahead at NWMC and I am pretty sure it will be here to stay.pink panther wrote:I hope your right cause WCM is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen the sooner it's scraped the better all those involved are blue eyed arse lickers. Totally disagree thay haven't made any real improvements in my place of work. Everyone laughing at how they are spending money. Noticeboards everywhere full of crap information, unlimited over time for the select few, not forgetting new equipment which has been bought and isn't being used. I could go on for ages about this one thing they are good at is talking bullshit. Waste Company Money, w*****s Can't Manage.Swinder wrote:It is still ploughing ahead at NWMC and I am pretty sure it will be here to stay.pink panther wrote:I hope your right cause WCM is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen the sooner it's scraped the better all those involved are blue eyed arse lickers. Given Royal Mails failure to adhere to the agreed approach to World Class Mail, we will suspend forthwith all involvement in the future roll out of WCM, until such time that all of our concerns are addressed. In existing WCM sites we will advise members that they should honour their contracts of employment, but should not become involved in any work outside of their contract and or in conflict with other existing National Agreements. We will also insist that the company provide the Union with detailed information on all the costs and anticipated savings associated with the World Class Mail project.
