Hi,
I live in Walthamstow and my sorting office is on Church Street.
I have not received post for the past 8 days even though I have ordered statements, ordered through eBay and Amazon.
I called the number which put me through to Plymouth where they created a case and said they would contact the sorting office. When I called back, they told me that there was no post in the sorting office for us at all and to contact the senders.
I have done this again and still have not received anything.
No here is where it gets a bit weird for me. My wife ordered the same item from eBay under her name 5 days after my original order and her item turned up on Friday.
I did receive some circulars under my full name so I decided to do a test from work. I sent one letter addressed to Maximus Suzuki and one to Max Suzuki. The one with Maximus on it turned up and the other has not.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

the biggest problem with redirections are they often come though to us as "not an entire family move".
i have had my own duty for years and know pretty much everybody on it so when all the family have moved i go into common sense mode.
with new working practices and people covering dutys they dont know, hence it has to be by the book and this is where RM are not making full use of the experience available.

It's not worth it anymore, whatever it says on the card is what get redirected (the same goes with DNRs), I spend enough time in the managers office without giving them a legitimate excuse to get rid of me. It's not about common sense anymore its about protecting your job.moyas slave wrote:the biggest problem with redirections are they often come though to us as "not an entire family move".

Hi,
There is a redirection from my old address in both versions of my name.
But I was receiving post from there previously.
I have also been receiving post addressed to my current address since I have moved there in September.
This so weird, I had re ordered stuff from last week which also has not turned up.

Just a shot in the dark here Max but does the sender have a record of your previous address on their file? OR is the correct address shown.......try upping the postage to tracked or Special and see if it turns up..............that way you will at least know where it's going.MaxSuzuki wrote:Bump!

Senders do not have record of a previous address.
Will do a track and trace. Thanks.
