You can deliver it anyway you want......................in a car,but let's not go there with the wanky car user making the frame that way.

Oh sorry i think i see where your coming from :Very Happy Do you mean at the pegasus planning stage where you can sit at the computer with the planner ?

However if you sign on to a new duty you cant rip the frame around to suit yourself.

Yes and No, once the frame is up and running then that is what the WSM will be programmed to..............what would be the point of having sequenced mail if the frame was changed around to suit each postie who does the cover. Therefore the input is important at the planning stage

Sounds about right to me :Very Happy

I ve just signed for a new duty to start when the revision comes in and really do not like the frame order as i intend to use a trolley instead of a bike. I was told it cant be altered till the next (park and loop) revision

Anyway ive drifted well off thread  Opps sorry :whistle and i want to go see if DJP1 is going to admit to "spreading like butter " on the other thread.   :wave

It doesnt matter if we are talking about now or later ............ You take the mail out the frame the way YOU want to do it . EASY ! !

Sequenced or whatever ....... the mail is in the frame . YOU decide how you are gonna do it ...... by the frame or your own way .

Well you suit yourself and maybe your partner on a park and loop will suit himself. The loops are set out in logical sequence but of course you'd know best.

You mean you don't have loops YET but it's coming to an office near you................ and it's yours........so get used to doing the frame as it's laid out then you won't have a problem when you're prepping two deliveries for two people in loops :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

If we're discussing Frames etc. and no-one wants to set a new thread: Never used to be a problem when as a Reserve if you didn't like the way the Regular delivered it you just had your own "Bundling" list. You used this to "Pull Out" the mail & set up all the walks you covered into a sequence YOU were happy with. :Very Happy
Nowadays however a lot of Reserves aren't even getting the opportunity to "Bundle Up" and merely pick up ready prepped bags. These bags are often not even "Prepped" by the same guys, or anyone that's even delivered the duty, even by the DIM
Result: If the frame is not logical and do-able it's the Reserve stood out on the street in the crappy weather trying to re-arrange bundles and re-organise "On the Hoof" :arrrghhh
I for one would like to see frames checked regularly to make sure idle buggers are updating them with new builds and replacing illegible labels that have had Tea split on them etc. Sorry won't happen means work for the DIM. :whistle

If the frame is not logical, then the revision has failed. The whole object of the exercise is that WSMs will produce walk sequenced mail to a GIVEN sequence as per the frame and in the case of park and loop, which WILL be the predominant delivery method in the future, they will be completed to that sequence in pairs.

If it's your walk and you want the way a frame is set out changed...then you get it changed...officially.
You don't stand there pulling bits out here, there and everywhere like a feckin idiot.
If it's not your walk, leave it alone,it's probably like that for a reason and you'll likely just f**k things up. :cuppa
