how long is post going to take to be sorted in mk??
Hi any one who knows what happening in milton keynes with reguards to the large packets parcels as I've been told theres a real big back log mk2 postcode up to mk40 is this true???

Yes it's true ! I'm in MK and still waiting for 8 parcels to arrive that were all dispatched on the 29th & 30th December. On the plus side it's still Christmas in our house as delivered to us today was yet another late Christmas card, posted 1st class on the 18th December from Watford (34 days in total !).
Royal Mail are really letting people down, it was bad before Christmas and doesn't seem to be improving. We had presents arrive this week for our children that we had ordered 10 days before Christmas

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

But in more and more areas, the backlog is being caught up. There are still a lot that are struggling, because of lack of staff (2 of the 3 main centres in my area are up to date). But the end is finally in sight. I just hope that next year, Management don't underestimate the obvious (to us, and no doubt the majority of the Public too) increase in traffic, in the run up to Christmas, again. 
Sadly, I don't know what's happening in your area, so I don't know how far into the process, the backlog is. Hopefully, someone else will be able to tell you that.
