They never did that in my day. Image

Actually I have 4 care homes on my walk and all the old folks are pretty good, in summer they have a drink of water waiting for me, and they always want a quick chat but understand why I can't stop all the time.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

On deliverys I loved the old un's... I had a walk for a few years that had 4 Rest homes or GODS WAITING ROOMS as i call em...

But i tells ya wot!!!! The old un's in there were always good to me and at xmas they even made me a card from all of em and bless em signed it... And some where so old and weak couldnt even write... Ive been brought up to respect The good old people who fought in the wars and fought for rights in the work place.. Some died for us to moan at the slightest thing we aint happy about.... JUST FECKING THINK ABOUT IF WE HAD TO GO THRU WOT THEM PEOPLE DID ???? YOU WOULD BE A RIGHT MOANING BASTARD!!!! GO ON TELL ME YOU WOULDNT????? I dont like the ones that just are ignorant or rude as i dont have that from anyone.. But i have time for most of the old people on my rounds.... I got loads of tips as well... I never done it for that but i know i apreciated it.. One old girl One xmas gave me a score.... I gave it back in a card the next day.... The cheeky dear.. Next year gave me £40 quid..... I couldnt believe it she kept it all the year and gave both years tips in one...... I was choked... Now If anyone called her an old moaner i would chin em!!!!

WARS.. RATIONS.. HARDSHIPS.. BOMBS.. NO HAND OUTS.... NO SOCIAL BENIFITS.. JUST THINK WHAT THEY HAD TO LIVE FOR???

NO WONDER THEY SEE THINGS AS THEY ARE AND FECKING MOAN!!! :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :d'oh!
