With more shitty weather forcast for sometime in the future it would be a good idea to have clarification from RM and CWU :hmmmm As with many posts on here it seems with so many DOs (is it 1500ish) there's bound to be a whole range of different decisions made By Management and options taken by Posties, and that's without taking any "Local Agreements" into consideration.

I believe the main differences are: A) Is your DIM deliberately giving you false info ;liar or is he just Stupid/Thick  (Might be working on old info.)
B) Ditto your Union Rep  (could have an excuse if he is 20 yrs + old practices etc.)
C) The attitude of SOME Posties :whistle We all know some that are not Militant but just downright bloody akward! "My duty's the Biggest.. Hardest...Most Difficult etc" but still get back 2 hours early every day.

Conclusion: Up to date and Honest (ish) DIM + Up to Date and Proactive Rep + Informed & Realistic Postie= Success!
Lying Bullshitting DIM + Arse Licking Out of Date Rep + Stroppy, Argumentative, Lazy Postie = Chaos!

 And of course you've got all points between which are bound to be found in one of our many workplaces!

Next time deliveries are stopped I might take the opportunity to sort out the labelling on my fitting. Years out of date with new houses squesed :left: into single slots. No one else would do it and your fitting is supposed to be bang up to date for ws to work. Several days work there thinking about it :dance .

How many Posties do you know who don't bother updating their frame? They don't bother updating the A+ because THEY know that row is delivered back-to-front, and they deliver the last row before the 1st etc! :mad And they don't give a s**t about the reserve who has to try and work their frame out.

Hats of to Brains :Applause Before the Single Daily Delivery came in some frames were DECADES out of date with bits of sticky tape and fag packets all over them. As Watchcote says get some more printed off. Even if you've not added anything those bottom rows fad with all the Tea that's spilt on them. :cuppa
