Sorry but could you give us the first part of your Post Code - However if your in Scotland that has been hit very hard with some deliveries not going out at all this week.

hi its eh54
Edited your post for security reasons, we only needed the first part as well TBH.

Nothing specific for your post code but RM did Tweet this yesterday.
Areas likely to have deliveries affected by the weather are: ML1-12, EH1-55, TD13, AB31-35, AB42-3, AB45, AB51, AB53-6 and IV12, IV30-31
I doubt much has changed with more snow last night.

RM Tweet team are very good might be worth asking them. If you want to follow them http://twitter.com/#!/RoyalMail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and to message them @RoyalMail

Unfortunately recorded deliveries are just that, a signature after delivery has been made. There is no way to track them until after a delivery attempt has been made. Best advice is to call your local delivery office and see if there's any mail there for you before going to the office.

In our area they are splitting the delivery into 2 or 3 parts where there is a back log, doing first part Monday, 2nd part Tues, etc etc. However, some days there is no mail getting into the delivery offices. So there is nothing to deliver except the backlog

 Most folks in the livingston area have had only about two deliveries in the past couple of weeks! Even prior to the bad weather, changes to delivery methods meant a huge backlog of mail!
