I was expecting planner and pegasus then the above was sprung on us out of the blue.

Mbrs were kept in the loop, but some suffer from parnoia induced by those with vested interests.
I'll tell you something BD, if they were kept in the loop and it was 4 to 1 against that's some paranoia, I'd think the information looping through was flawed - why go ahead with a vote when a finger on the pulse would clearly indicate it wasn't a goer. I would also question the payment of £200 for what is in effect a non-revision without the inclusion of HCTs and CDVs.

Vested interest does seem to be a factor here without a shadow of a doubt.

Those with every Saturday off were very negative towards attendance patterns that is the polite way of describing the scare mongering.

Of course the more popular new patterns are the less chance they have of keeping every Saturday off.

Just checked my maths now im refreshed after a nights sleep and the 4 to1 was a bit out

Clash even as an Exrep the militant part never leaves you.

D/Os have now got to stand on there own two feet and fight as most of us feel the CWU have lost there fight.

Dont just roll over and accept what R/M and their corrupted figures show.

The CWU may be tucked up in bed with R/M but we the members are not.

How do we stand when it comes to voting on revisions? Do the union have to organise a vote and do the management have to listen? Is it a vote for only union members or all workers as it affects them all?
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

i can beat the lot of you my office has been planning a revision for 17 months i got 1 planner kicked out 4 more have come and gone and the new one is a first timer :d'oh!
finally royal mail have decided there done and going to bring it in so we put in a no vote to the manager and planner
they sent the area union rep to talk us round so we sent him on his way
then they sent the area rep back with back up in the form of the rm area manager he left the same way
next week we move one step higher up the ladder and the divisional union rep and rm divisional manager turning up for meeting with manager ,planner, area union rep, area health and safety rep myself and deputy rep should be some fireworks.

You will need the support of the higher union echelons though - if they say there is no case, whether there is or isn't, you'll be out on a limb and they will agree to let the revision go in by EA.

Even if that happens - 17 months is a remarkable achievement.
Postman should be sending him honorary whatnots.
