Behind the bus shelter doesn't count as "in public" then?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: rumour mill, its all cwu fault
how do you work this 4hrs 30mins out weve just have our section reivision( 4 )in our office and weve lost 5 duties up to now in 1 section and the delivery span works out at 5hrs 30mins the shortest and upwards on commputer and no breaks or replenishment was included , and meal breaks are to be taken in the van ? how can you agree to this type of s*8t.dingo wrote:The North East have a policy to increase full time jobs as there part time staff want a full time job. This basically means they lose jobs overall but increase the amount of full time jobs. In the main they have agreed where delivery methods have been deployed 4 hours 30 mins however on average because replishment time and relax breaks are included in the 4 hours 30 mins then in reality the delivery span is less than 4 hours.
Branch`s have agreed and off course offices will have a vote on their own local revision.
It may not be for everyone but the members will decide.

Excuse me I have not agreed to this , it was reported at a meeting last week from the North East and it would be accepted if you were on a 20 hour contract and you wanted 40 hours .worktotime wrote:how do you work this 4hrs 30mins out weve just have our section reivision( 4 )in our office and weve lost 5 duties up to now in 1 section and the delivery span works out at 5hrs 30mins the shortest and upwards on commputer and no breaks or replenishment was included , and meal breaks are to be taken in the van ? how can you agree to this type of s*8t.dingo wrote:The North East have a policy to increase full time jobs as there part time staff want a full time job. It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There is only one culprit and that is Royal Mail management or rather mismanagement, not helped of course by opening the market and the derisory helping hand of the regulator.
The company will never recover from the hacking and chopping that has gone on for the last 10 years, the wounds are mortal.
Very true DV.

Re: rumour mill, its all cwu fault
Before stage 1 of the 6 step revision process you are all supposed to be asked about your hopes and aspirations for the revision.
It should take into account full-time to part time aspirations, delivery span desires and your planner should be able to explain to you the consequences of your decisions.
In your case it seems they overlooked this pre-revision activity.......or maybe they just didn't give a f**k.
