Has it come to the point Tman, where you have to hide behind another poster to have a go at someone?
Surely you should be directing your post at dvb...not dingo.
I was asking Dingo why he bothered to reply to a continuing theme from another poster. Sounds more like you're the one desperate to have a go about something...anything :cuppa but then you've been doing much the same in this thread.. :shhhhh

......but you did that in the first 15 words.,,
Maybe, but why do still engage in the same old to-and-fro with him

What was the rest of the post about Tman?
He's made it abundantly clear he has issues with the CWU and is no longer a member, so the replies he posts to/at you are not driven by anything other than those same personal issues...

Quite why he believes that London is somehow "different" to the rest of the UK has never been disclosed, although to say "no-one is remotely interested" is taking the belief that one's personal views are held by everyone to a new level.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Thank you Tman for your interest, as usual I hang on to your every word :cuppa which is generally repetetive and aimless.

DV, I try and avoid your endless anti-CWU, anti-London postings for much the same reasons, although as you're neither a Londoner nor a CWU member your continuing need to post these sentiments is a mystery.

You see Tman you don't need to be a member of the CWU from London to post on this forum, anyone can! But thanks for your posting, I look forward to your total avoidance in future :cuppa :wave

Just found out today that Nine Elms is shutting. I had heard rumours about it for a while.
This affects us in Supply Chain as our London Central CVIT operate out of there.
I wonder if there will be Royal Mail / POL joint action because of this?

You see Tman you don't need to be a member of the CWU from London to post on this forum, anyone can!
But the question wasn't whether "anyone can" but why you continue to post these same sentiments?
Is it a Northern thing, or just the actions of a non-union member needing to justify why he isn't a member? :hmmmm

973 jobs going? If they offer EVR to part-timers at Mount Pleasant this time around, they could pretty much empty the building if they wanted to.

Over 400 jobs will be lost at MP if the Inward Foreign is transferred from MP to HWDC.
But this is the work that is done before 1700 M-F, and the only work we do on Sunday.
The PT staff are there 1700-2000 M-F, so management may want to keep them and get rid of FT.
At the management briefings PT staff have been asking if they will be offered VR,
but were told that details of VR/EVR offers will be given at a later date.

True, you don't, but if you're taking the trouble to post these same posts again and again on a public forum, then it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that you might want to share the the reason(s) behind it. The concept of forums in general and RMC in particular is lost, otherwise.... :hmmmm

That's the rub. They're talking about 300 or whatever new jobs at HWDC if the Inward Foreign mail goes there. But would those just be available to full-timers at the Mount or thrown open to the other two mail centres at well?

Basically, it sounds like the Mount would become a huge delivery office with some sorting done at night. (Not that there's anything wrong with delivery offices. It just would be a big change.)
