I was asking Dingo why he bothered to reply to a continuing theme from another poster. Sounds more like you're the one desperate to have a go about something...anything but then you've been doing much the same in this thread..

What was the rest of the post about Tman?
He's made it abundantly clear he has issues with the CWU and is no longer a member, so the replies he posts to/at you are not driven by anything other than those same personal issues...
Quite why he believes that London is somehow "different" to the rest of the UK has never been disclosed, although to say "no-one is remotely interested" is taking the belief that one's personal views are held by everyone to a new level.

DV, I try and avoid your endless anti-CWU, anti-London postings for much the same reasons, although as you're neither a Londoner nor a CWU member your continuing need to post these sentiments is a mystery.

Just found out today that Nine Elms is shutting. I had heard rumours about it for a while.
This affects us in Supply Chain as our London Central CVIT operate out of there.
I wonder if there will be Royal Mail / POL joint action because of this?

True, you don't, but if you're taking the trouble to post these same posts again and again on a public forum, then it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that you might want to share the the reason(s) behind it. The concept of forums in general and RMC in particular is lost, otherwise....

That's the rub. They're talking about 300 or whatever new jobs at HWDC if the Inward Foreign mail goes there. But would those just be available to full-timers at the Mount or thrown open to the other two mail centres at well?
Basically, it sounds like the Mount would become a huge delivery office with some sorting done at night. (Not that there's anything wrong with delivery offices. It just would be a big change.)
