Yes, but it'll be delayed, because of the mistake.

It depends on when the mistake is noticed. Everything is sorted by Postcode, until it reaches the Postie who actually delivers the Mail. But sometimes, someone will notice a mistake like that (if they know that particular area), earlier in the process, and make sure it goes to the right place. If that's happened, you should get it very soon. If it isn't noticed until it gets to the Postie on Deliveries, then it'll be put in with the "missorts". Where it'll be re-sorted, to the correct "walk", and sent to the right place. But that'll take a couple of extra days. So it'll probably arrive early next week.

It should still end up in the same Delivery Office if the first part of the p/code is correct. It may just have to be manually sorted instead of fully automated.

Is it from a firm or is it personal, you've heard of the 'cheques in the post' malarkey.A lot of firms lie when they sent things out and blame us.

If the Postcodes you posted are correect then your one BL5 2SF - Nice road BTW :Very Happy is OK - However even RMs own Post Code search does not recognise BL5 2FS so it may have been rejected at the mail centre and still be working its way through the system as a manual sort.

That was the problem. Only the first 2 were correct. And it turns out, that the Postcode on the letter, doesn't exist at all. So as Teebs said, it will have been sorted manually, as a missort. Which means that it shouldn't have been delayed by much. Although, if it's noticed later in the process (if the wrong postcode actually exists), the delay will be a little longer.

RM's address finder (normal rm public website) recognises the postcode (BL5 2SF) ok. It's possible the iLSMs might be able to still sort it to the relevant slot.
