Remember when the King had respect for the postie ?
I've recently seen a telegram type message sent by King George V in 1935 on the occasion of his Silver Jubilee in which he acknowledged the "Efficiency, Punctuality and Cheerfulness" of postal staff which "commands the Admiration and Gratitude of the public"
So why didn't we get such a message from the Queen on her Silver or Golden Jubilee or is she waiting for her Diamond Jubilee in 2012 ?
