Remember when the King had respect for the postie ?

Post by Lounge Lizard »

I've recently seen a telegram type message sent by King George V in 1935 on the occasion of his Silver Jubilee in which he acknowledged the "Efficiency, Punctuality and Cheerfulness" of postal staff which "commands the Admiration and Gratitude of the public" :Very Happy So why didn't we get such a message from the Queen on her Silver or Golden Jubilee or is she waiting for her Diamond Jubilee in 2012 ?
