By political i don't mean government inspired as can also mean the internal politics of a company .Night Tonic wrote:Don't see the political decision, just the financial one. or shock delivering themselves.ironic as they are portrayed as our competition and they not even solid at home.
seriously
what is happening to these tnt workers is outrageous
if was a purely financial decision to get rid of 11000 i wouldn't have such a problem with it.
but the loss of 11000 full timers while part timers jobs are declared safe!
sounds like a political decision to create a different sort of workforce.
If it is financial decision it will make no difference if they are full or part time hours.
you know that a part timers have a quicker staff turnover (students etc)
20 hour workers are less likely to complain about poor conditions or be in a union.
We do agree on one thing, TNT are not credible competition at least for now nor potential buyers .
