Came in early, no meal break, leave office early to do part of walk, overweight pouches, rush back for missorts, rush out again for rest of walk, then get back to office 4 hours before your finish time. No doubt management will be very impressed, swap your delivery boots for a pair of Nike running shoes. Doh!
The sad thing is, most people do cut corners for whatever reason. Maybe to make five minutes here or there. The main gripe I have with this is that managers will stand there and let you do this. They will even encourage you to cut the corners, they will turn a blind eye to the heavy pouch or the lack of cycle helmet etc but when you have an accident,
They will throw the book at you
You have been warned
Take a moment to think about what you are doing, it may be something you do every day and you never have an accident, but the first time you do, remember that the managers will be saying it is your own fault for not abiding by Royal Mail Policy.
