Aye like has been said in this thread the next two weeks are what is needed strike wise. The two one days were to gauge the support of members for the strike. Royal Mail once again has shoot itself in the foot with the Pensions proposals. Our DO stood there barefaced and told us that what he was reading i.e Royal Mail dogma that it was untrue in the papers. I know who I,d believe and it,s not RM and for sure never my manager. I for one will never cross the picket line. The pensions farce has only strengthened peoples resolve in my opinion. :lfo

Ah the memories.

One of the best was when a GSM said to one Guy as he poked him in the chest with his pacer stick. "There is a bit of crap on the end of this stick" Quick as you like the squaddy said "Not on this end Sir"

strike last saturday

Post by ray of sunshine »

Some fellow workers went to bromsgrove sorting office to show their support last saturday at 4am.They were told to go back to redditch as it was secondary picketing. They were over the road from the building, even video taped themselves, and then left at 4.55am.
The dom had each one in the office yesterday they will take it futher.
Why is it redditch has only 6 go over the picket line, and the whole of bromsgrove goes in except one
I turned up on the picket line, wearing a short revealing top and a short skirt, which certainly showed the dom that i can wear something besides my uniform.
As a fellow postman said when i turned up.
"heres dessert!" :dance
