So Clash some of your £400 could be going on incontinence pants, then?
No I get them on the NHS.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

What a brilliant idea - turning up for an interview with your own sofa.

Feck me, that was funny.

Snorted tea out of my nostrils when I read it.

Don't worry about it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It will affect your gross pay. so it will affect your tax credits and benefit. keep your overtime down. try not to earn more this year than you did the previous year. Otherwise you will only lose out the following year. This happened to me. The more work you do to help yourself and your family the more they take out of the other hand from your credits/benefits. That is why Britain is up the creek without a paddle. The less you do........the more you get. Stupid bloody system. It is a shame the CWU did not take this into consideration with so many postmen/postwomen with young families in royal mail. I remember it was not that long ago that the CWU were against lump sums. The CWU always used to fight for guaranteed better basic pay. The D2D payment is now a supplement so this will probably get taken away as did the early shift allowance. The pay rises are not guaranteed either...... Hope i am wrong about the pay rises, but from previous experience
I find it hard to trust royal mail management to honour their agreements. Hope this helps you.

Think they did take it into consideration, now you have to work later Saturdays you won't have the energy to take the kids out thus saving money :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

why do i want this job

my walk is tottaly insane , i am exhausted every night

it was bearable when i was getting that little bit extra from d2d could nearly make my pay close to 170 ( woo hooooo )

but im sure i can do better than a 130 pound job 5 days a week that inclused working satarday (up at 6am on sat) early in bed on fri for it...

working here part time feels full time because the walks are so dam big u dont get finished till 2 or 3

what an experience ive had tho lol

pure hell
i wish i could find a easier job who pays £8 odd a hour for 25 hour.
theres nothing much out there at least this keeps us out in the air and fit lol

Yeah hold him to ransom! like we got held to ransom over the £400 we were owed anyway. Hang on though wouldn't that make us as bad as them?
