I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Is that a guilty secret you're holding back, postman? And before you think it cathartic to spill your guts, that is a rhetorical question

When working on a bank or local holiday that we haven't got off I get sick of "I thought you were off today postie". Yeah we are but I just felt like walking around in my uniform for a laugh.

A universal truth....

the half delivery you take out on overtime is always the bit with the longest paths, the worst dogs, the most minging customers and the steepest steps.

Cos the other bastard got back from his round pronto, after running round his walk and snaffled up the easiest bit...

The houses that are hardest to get to always have one letter, just to make the exercise seem even more futile.
