Re: Help regarding a recorded delivery i sent?
DVLA will probably get bulk (a lot of) recorded every day so I would check on the system around 6pm every day.
My advice would be not to call the DVLA for a few days to give the letter a chance to go through their system.
Recorded BTW are treated the same as a normal letter in how they progress through the RM system and they are not tracked through the entire system. If you sent it 1st class normal delivery is 1 day but allow 3 working days. If you sent it 2nd class it could 3 to 5 days. The biggest difference with recorded is only that they should be signed for at the point of delivery.

Re: Help regarding a recorded delivery i sent?
My concerns are that what if dvla turn around and tell me they cant see my v62 application on thier systems? i cant wait the 10 workings days for this letter to get back to me as thats almost another 3 weeks of waiting ontop of the 4 weeks wait for my new logbook.
also where do i stand with the postal order i sent, i still have the reciept so can i claim my money back on that?

Yes if you have the receipt and the Postal Orders have not been cancelled/cashed. BTW hope you crossed them like a cheque so that they can't be cashed by just anyone.strobez1977 wrote:also where do i stand with the postal order i sent, i still have the reciept so can i claim my money back on that?
