If you look at your Annual leave card 2010-2011 you will see right hand side" public holiday credit " First one is Good Friday so you are intitled to an extra days leave Hope that helps

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Have had either a Monday or Tuesday off the past 3 months, this week had a thursday. I now know why, Good Friday coming up so I can be stitched up as per usual. As a reserve you really do get the dregs.

I don't know how, but...I've got Tuesday as my Day Off and Friday! ( In Sat, off Sun, off Mon. )

First time for bloody ages, as they always seem to count the Friday as your day off etc.

Don't know whether it's the 2010 attitude, the water or the Voodoo doll I've been sticking pins in, but it's worked!

My Gob has never been so Smacked!

Correct.
What is it about the Ops side of RM which seems to find the rules and regs (which have been in place for years) so hard to understand? :hmmmm

If a Bank Holiday falls on a rest day/off day, you get it credited. Its the way it's always been.

Unbelievable. I've had two Thursday's off in a row, so I look at the rota which was put up today, and surprise surprise they decide to give me my friday off next week. How convenient.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't see it coming. :arrrghhh
