I swear to the Holy God above I can not for one minute believe that the CWU are part of this agreement. My social life is pretty non existent on school nights and now they want to make my Saturday finish time as late as they possibly can for me.

The proof is in the pie.
This is how management interpret the agreement.
Will the Truth and Dingo please make a comment. This document indicates that you are talking shite.

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
I think an explanation is due here by "the members in the know". The first couple of pages are about "trust". The ink isn't even dry yet and already they are adopting their own policies on the agreement.
Needs to be sent to Mr Poole and ACAS asap...................

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
Isn't it great that we will receive the delivery supplement for 52 weeks a year!
Isn't it great that we will be delivering D2D's for 52 weeks a year. That means over Christmas of course. At least we'll be well paid for it.
"Have you got my kiddies Xmas Card from his granny?"
"Nah, I've got something even better than that....a half dozen pizza leaflets, credit card leaflets and a hell of a good deal on car insurance."

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
If management decide that an office is not "10%",they would have to discount people who come in early and use their cars. Those "10%" standards have yet to be agreed.Plus your rep will input,(or be trained to),do the PC work.
However this "briefing" doesn't state that.There-fore the "trust" issue is already gone. The independant people assigned,(Roger Poole & ACAS),need to get involved ASAP. ACAS are meant to be on this 3 year deal and Roger Poole is clearly the eyes and ears of the goverment.
Mr Poole was quite insistent that both parties adhere to the trust issue,(he was very irate at times). He needs to know...NOW!!
