Ha ha ha ha ha if you say so. I'm just a normal area delivery rep who has spent time reading and trying to understand a new agreement 'for the benefit of the members I represent I might add', that will affect us all. I work for Royal Mail too, it'll affect me just as much as it will any other employee.garymgo wrote:Dave "razzamadazz" Ward

Stick your figures up your arse. You must be getting very well paid by the CWU to get this deal through.

That's it, typical, you don't like someone elses view so you become abusive. Aren't there rules on here about that?Dogs of War wrote:Stick your figures up your arse. You must be getting very well paid by the CWU to get this deal through.

Split you bags up i can hear the DOM say,but that will take me longer say i-How says DOM?Razzamadazz wrote: 2010 & Beyond agreement states: ‘In the interim to ensure that D2D workload is covered effectively in line with this agreement, and in advance of units realigning duties through full revision activity to take account of D2D, resourcing of hours associated with the workload linked to D2D will be dealt with through locally agreed interim arrangements and reviewed through the weekly resourcing meetings in all delivery units. To aid the transition, offices that have not deployed delivery methods revisions will have to provide genuine and demonstrable solutions to any weight or volumetric issues’.
Going by past experience all this workshop and locally agreed workloads will mean more bullying from managers to complete. This part of the agreement needs serious amendments anything less is not acceptable, they may as well pay Dave Joyce off.

shove it i work 40 hrs a week and get paid 40 hrs a week there is a point where i think we can have a deal perhaps £40 a week d2d for delivery staff with unlimeted d2d the cwu have lost the vision at the moment just looking out for there self (there were more pages in the agreement protecting the union than the membership) we can have a deal...but i think the top cwu have to speak to the grass roots... otherwise when we fall ..we will take every one of you with us

Re: The New Delivery Supplement Explained
an equally important part of the D2D into workload argument is the effect on indoor and outdoor time. I will need more time in prepping and delivering more D2D. My duty should be shortened, to accomodate D2D and the shorter working week.
RM have used the "fewer letters" argument to drive part time work as D2D replace letters their argument falls, restoring full time levels.
This,as always, is a negotiators agreement. It is up to reps - if the agreement is voted in - to negotiate these issues with the force of a national union behind them.
D2D into workload is the right strategy, however this does not disguise that members doing 3 D2D a week will lose pay.

I think you know the alternative,HQ promised an independent review of workloads and from that achievable performance standards could be set ie if we are now agreeing to use geo route, then why is the walkspeed not in the agreement, there is only one kind of walking it dosnt vary from area to area.Razzamadazz wrote:It's a leap of faith my friend, but what is the alternative?Danelectro wrote:Split you bags up i can hear the DOM say,but that will take me longer say i-How says DOM?Razzamadazz wrote: 2010 & Beyond agreement states: ‘In the interim to ensure that D2D workload is covered effectively in line with this agreement, and in advance of units realigning duties through full revision activity to take account of D2D, resourcing of hours associated with the workload linked to D2D will be dealt with through locally agreed interim arrangements and reviewed through the weekly resourcing meetings in all delivery units.
