customers mistakes

Post by montriff »

I had a recorded card this morning and while the gentleman was signing for it he started ranting on about how it was a replacement birthday card from his daughter .The previous one had gone missing sent a week ago and had money in it
Even though i was on leave last week it felt like he was blaming me
He lives at number 54 and when i got to number 34 guess what was there :Very Happy Not only had she put the wrong number on it, but had also underpayed postage so it had a yellow surcharge sticker on it  So instead of putting it back in the box(which i should of done to make him wait even longer) i took back to his house and gave it to him personally ,pointing out the mistakes :dance
i wonder if he rings customer services up and tells them it wasn't our fault ,if he has made a complaint
