I doubt Wimbledon would be that stupid to let that happen ( lapse a year's pay rise ), otherwise we'd all be up there with pitchforks and burning torches!
( Then again, if someone makes something idiotproof, some else makes a better kind of idiot ).

TBH I didn't think the interim agreement was still ongoing - take a look the posts on here at various offices round the country, this is being imposed or that is being imposed and so on.
No I never said that ! But London is a powerful part of the union and both royal mail and Cwu hqs know that. In any case royal mail cannot introduce anything else in London until we have resolved the executive action
Some would say too powerful with undue influence. Lets now create a scenario where the PEC/CWU have to put it to the vote and they will have to eventually regardless of the state of play in London, and the vote is a YES. The London issues will still be outstanding but the deal is accepted, where do you stand? I would have thought you would be fairly isolated wouldn't you?

We really do have to wonder what is taking so long to resolve the issues that were so close to resolution more than two months ago.

Thanks Dingo for the info most helpfull, whether we agree with the messanger is something else ate least we have one.

On Geo route /Pegus why does RM refuse to test the walks the only people with any thing to loose are the Posties .
RM has a A1 planning team,or at least what they think!
a first class Computer system ,must be after paying all that money for it,so why not test just some walks in each office!

CWU policy is pay restructuring as well as a pay rise,so worry about net pay and ignore gross pay.

It will not happen. Royal Mail know that they cannot unlock the savings in London with the CWU being involved. They tried it last year and have not realised all the savings and have causuals still delivering as late a 7 oclock in the evening in Wimbledon , Islington , Southwark , Docklands and Streatham where they introduced so called geo route revisons by executive action. Their planners cant introduce any geo route successfully without our members doing sid and sarah , updating the A plus and the mapping verification, in Islington alone the planners missed 900 delivery points of their imposed revison.

This brings me on to your seconds point , Please believe me no one was encouraged to do geo routes under any pay and mod deal . Yes some did and as ususal Royal Mail allowed the first few offices to get a few jobs back and a few part timers up graded to full time. Then they adjusted the time for walking paths and for delivery of items and attendance calls.

The majority of the rest then got sticthed up including Watford. Now I know this is the truth as in London we refused to even hold the training school which i think was a mistake by the union.

With regards terms of last years pay claim getting settled and backdated , lets face it last years inflation figure for april would mean its would be worth appoxmately £200 , there are better ways to use that money as its worth more in an exit rate rather than a backdated sum.

I will make this simple so i would like a simple answer.
At the moment i receive £12 early shift allowance.
Will i get a) a £42 supplement £12shift allowance + £30 D2D allowance b) a £30 supplement £12shift allowance + £18 D2D allowance

If the answer is b this is a pay cut. :cuppa

If the answer IS b) then how much would someone get who isn't on grandfather rights?

Would that be £30 or the difference between the existing allowance and £30?

If the answer is b i am struggling to see where this mother of all pay rises is coming from dvb. :whistle
Even if this mythical 6.5% over 3 years leapt to 10% considering we havent had a rise since 2008 this would in effect be a 5 year deal.
2% per year is hardly the biggest payrise in union history is it?
All hypothetical of course,I woudn't want anyone thinking that i'm posting information. :cuppa

Look I will answer but the £30 figure you assume is not right in the first place.

On door to door now you do not normally do them at Xmas or when on leave or sick leave. In addition not everyone has 3 items per week.

If you are in reciept of the early shift allowance then it will form part of your 52 week supplement. Equally if you have joined since 2007 or never recieved an early shift allowance then this existing money will bring people up to the same supplement. Remember in the future very few people will work as early as 5 or 5 30.

Due to the fact that royal mail cannot single out payments everone in the delivery unit including reserves , indoor and drivers will recieve a supplement.

It should be easy to check if someone is a loser as royal mail have given the union a list of the amount of items and payments and quality for every delivery unit.
