Yep ,ultimately probably heavily casualised. Leaders have a panel to pick from ,phone up on the day depending on traffic . Nice and cheap,no overheads ,super flexible ,impossible to unionise, easily ripped off.

if you say who you say you are
and are disgusted by how royal mail are treating you, then why the bloody hell are you bleeting on about your woes on this forum, eventhough you views are welcome.
Regarding to the Unite letter to all CMA Members dated 22 October 2009, it clearly outlined that that Unite was backing the CWU and clearly outline that if managers felt they were being pressured to undertake work beyond there normal duties then unite will support there claim should royal mail seek to bully or discipline any CMA member.
I would obviously believe that this is a continuous paper and not just dirrected apon the industrial action at the time, as while Acas and the TUC are still active during this period of clam.
Therefore I suggest you get up stand up, stand up for your rights(well that sound catchy
) and inform your union that enough is enough!!!!
however you have already taken the blood/sweat and tears money.
you had your chance and the power of the people citizen WILL now over come the spineless attack management force apon all workforce.

OK during the time I was at the office, the posties received an extra £40 per month performance bonus, which they lost prior to me being there.
Bonuses depend on your grade and the office performance.
So bonuses depends on different factors

Re: Panorama from a DOMS Perspective
But DOM and line manager's bonus' is based on their salary. They (you) get a bonus irrespective of how efficient or incompetant they are.
Apart from Wolfie and me, isn't anyone else suspicious of mmax ? He comes on here praising his staff and being critical of RM. Saying the things we'd like to hear. And in doing so tacitly encouraging us to say critical things about RM, (not that we need much encouragement tbf). Does not the term 'agent provocateur' come to mind ? How soon will it be before people get sacked for comments they've made to good ol' mmax ?
Ok, you may think I'm being bitter and cynical, fair comment, but hard won experience has taught me to be cynical about anything a RM manager says.

Yeah he does sound too good to be true.
"If I ever get a bonus I make sure I share it with my staff" sounds a little dodgy to me.

Too farking right. We have had the meeting about not taking photos within the office and sending them or puting them on places like here and also the threat of putting things on facebook as well. Managers will do anything to get rid of staff especially when next year they are going to be expected to make even more cost cutting.Thorby Bislam wrote:But DOM and line manager's bonus' is based on their salary. I dont believe you are who you say you are, you maybe a manager (female at a guess, bv the way you come across and the language you have used), I agree with what others have said. You should be out in the light standing up for whats right not, not hiding in the shadows of a bulletin board telling everyone to keep up the good fight, mmax wrote:wolfie citizen smith...
