despite the cwu's whinging and striking I am sure if the RM bosses weren't getting big fat salaries, and the posties earned more, these strikes wouldnt be happening.

So, what do you (postal workers) earn and how much (do you think) is a fair wage??
Immaterial as we are not asking for a pay rise. Anyway my take home pay for a 40hr week is £230.
what???? that can't even be mimimum wage. there is no way on earth i could live on a take home wage of just £230.

lol this is really funny.

1) i am not a plant, or a journo, just a pissed off punter.
2) my hubby only takes home £200p.w. without overtime. we get child tax credit of about £100 a week. we have 5 of us to feed and we live in the country and have to run a motorbike (for him) and a car. I look after my children and am proud of it. my kids wont be delinquents because we're both off working and neglecting them, just to chase a few more £'s
3) i'm not changing my name cos i'm just voicing an opinion (which is shared by just about everyone i know!)

postman, u think £338 is low paid? what planet are you on? my hubbys a farm worker. THATS low pay. and a lot more strenuous and dangerous than any post sorting/delivering! But he works hard to make sure deadlines are met and work is done, because if its not, the pigs suffer, and thats not fair on them! right now, you posties that are striking are treating us customers like farm animals. no matter what you say, your actions speak louder and they're saying you dont care how we suffer, YOU are more important! whatever happened to the customer is always right?
