Finished around 2hr's earlier. Lightest day for me in years
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

I had 3 boxes of walksort, then on IPS we had 60 boxes of letters, 60 boxes of Large flats and cages full of magazines. We were on IPS nearly 2 hours - I had 60kg and 5 bags.

Our mail centre was over 95% out so where the hell did all the mail come from? We heard untrained Temp workers were on the coding machines, surely it's illegal to have them working on a strike day? (as well as it being illegal as they were untrained!)

2 bags today and just over 2 hours to deliver it. What I don't understand is that we regularly had days like this not that long ago, maybe 5 years ago and especially Tuesdays and Saturdays! So if mail is declining "by 10% a year" why aren't we getting more days like this? :hmmmm I can't remember the last time I had less than 5 meaty bags, never mind 2!

Stacks of mail yesterday and today, we were told by RM yesterday to cut off as no OT and today would be light, of course they had to tell us today to cut off as no reward for striking tomorrow, so loads of mail was being bought back when I was going home, and RM keep blaming theCWU for cut offs, when its RM TELLING US TO CUT OFF, nice one RM.

Had a lighter than normal day - no mech and hardly any packets, did however have Sky and various other catalogues etc. Plus we lapsed three walks rather than one.

Monday should be "fun".
