Re: Easiet day ever!
Finished around 2hr's earlier. Lightest day for me in years
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Re: Easiet day ever!
I had 3 boxes of walksort, then on IPS we had 60 boxes of letters, 60 boxes of Large flats and cages full of magazines. We were on IPS nearly 2 hours - I had 60kg and 5 bags.
Our mail centre was over 95% out so where the hell did all the mail come from? We heard untrained Temp workers were on the coding machines, surely it's illegal to have them working on a strike day? (as well as it being illegal as they were untrained!)

Re: Easiet day ever!
2 bags today and just over 2 hours to deliver it. What I don't understand is that we regularly had days like this not that long ago, maybe 5 years ago and especially Tuesdays and Saturdays! So if mail is declining "by 10% a year" why aren't we getting more days like this?
I can't remember the last time I had less than 5 meaty bags, never mind 2!

Re: Easiet day ever!
raj why are you constantly trying to provoke people, are you hoping to play the race card ? well it won't work you aren't clever enough. all your posts are nothing more than sh1tstirring drivel designed to get a negative reaction. i think you must of fallen out of a very tall tree and hit your head on every branch on the way down. now go back into your office and contemplate your lack of bonusRaj wrote:My my you are such paranoid people not all though there are some people with sense on the siteIPS wrote:Finished around 2hr's earlier. And I can see that my original post has been removed
And that does not surprise me as people can see you for what you really are
I would be embarrassed too if I had made those rude and arrogant remarks
You should be ashamed of yourselves
You are a disgrace to the emblem that is on you jacket
You are a disgrace to your fellow workers
Keep the “post public” ha
If only the public can see how you really are and I believe some already have
You bicker amongst yourselves like spoilt children
The sooner this company are privatised the better
Then you will be exposed for what you really are
People who are making a mockery of the company
£356.56 plus a week for unskilled employment pah
You are over paid paper boys
Not everyone is like this I know but the ones who are
You know who you are
There will be many working tomorrow I will be one also good for them I am saying stand up and be counted
The public and business will be happy we are the honest brave sensible ones
Who will keep their jobs intact no matter what happens
I feel sorry for you people who are bitter and twisted seem many
You need to take a good look at yourselves in the mirror
I think it is a time for you to move on
As you have a massive chip on your shoulder which is weighing you down
More than your pouch bag it is you “ROYAL MAIL OWES ME” not every one is like that and you know who you are too
It's life Jim but not as we know it

Re: Easiet day ever!
quiet day dom had meeting in canteen trying to tell us how london posties have 2.5 hour walks and they are still on phase 2,and they are the real reason for strikes
after he was laughed down we had a discussion about abusive language and racism.btw my office got full pay this week as dom was on holiday last week and who ever done wages never took strike day off
but will mean 2 days deductions next week
5.00 til 7.00 picket duty tommorrow

Re: Easiet day ever!
Stacks of mail yesterday and today, we were told by RM yesterday to cut off as no OT and today would be light, of course they had to tell us today to cut off as no reward for striking tomorrow, so loads of mail was being bought back when I was going home, and RM keep blaming theCWU for cut offs, when its RM TELLING US TO CUT OFF, nice one RM.

Re: Easiet day ever!
Had a lighter than normal day - no mech and hardly any packets, did however have Sky and various other catalogues etc. Plus we lapsed three walks rather than one.
Monday should be "fun".
