What a thing to say to someone who is new! I can understand the current suspicion of new members (of the forum), but surely this guy deserves the benefit of the doubt. He's new, he hasn't a clue, just like me two years ago.MoNkEyBoY wrote: What a very very stupid question to ask especially at a time like this.
Wolvesboy: The thing you have to understand is that it's your managers responsibility to get you to and from your walk, and to supply you with your bags. If there are no drop boxes, maybe he could send out a driver to meet you at certain points. The thing to remember is communication. Speak to your manager. Tell him that you haven't had very good training, you aren't sure of certain procedures, and how exactly are you to get your bags thoughout your walk. It's up to him to work something out. You might be surprised, maybe there are garden sheds that can be used, but haven't for a while because of car use. If you get no help, go to see your union rep, even if you haven't joined the union yet.
If you are utterly determined to use your car, the only way to go is to ring your insurance company.
