It was only a 1 day strike, so I can't see why even the most hard up workers with families and high living costs couldn't have observed the strike.
However, everyone should be given a second chance. If they see the error of their ways, let them back - if not, starve the c*nts out!
You can't afford to strike?! I can't afford not to strike!!

i voted to kick them out too but i think im right in saying under anti trade union laws brought in by the tories its illegal to kick strike breakers out of a union
im sure i read something about it 11 years ago as i wanted to kick the strike breakers out then and was told by our branch sec it was impossible
shame as the biggest whingers and moaners in our office went in on friday and a couple of them wouldnt even still be working there if it was not for the union saving there asses over the years
shame on them wheres there backbone

good suggestions i will go with any of them..
my thoughts
i have said all the time any one that breaks the strike should be forded to accept the offer off royal mail after all they are not prepared to fight for any more so they must be happy with whats on the table.as for kicking them out the only problem with that is the loss of revenue for the cwu if you think we all pay approx £100 a year in our subs probably more you kick out 10 staff then theres a grand down the river. so keep them in the union give them the deal on the table and let the reps give them a sub standard service ...wa*k*r's..
