Not in my office, every full timer takes the same on collapsing days - only exceptions are if someone gets a bulk posting on their walk.BELIAL wrote:In my office the car users picked up the bulk of the lapsing and still made time,so management doubled the number of lapsed walksNo prizes for guessing who got the extra"but you were finished at 12 last week ,what's your problem now"
If they do and it's an unreasonable amount to finish without using a car then i'll stop using it and cut off. Yes, it really is simples. As I said I'm sure it's very nice in your office and RM will never try to increase your workload Simples
I'm not trying to wind anyone up, but the simple FACT is that I take no extra work because I use a car, and maybe I have good managers but they fully acknowledge the fact that we make time because of using them - banking of hours was tried in my office and everyone stopped using cars, result was hardly anyone banked many hours and the scheme was scrapped.
Any manager with half a brain knows you get more productivity if there is a carrot at the end. When Crozier said last night he wants posties to work 'all the hours they are paid' he was directly relating to what he'd just said about London refusing to accept Pegasus reviews, and said the rest of the country was already doing it - he doesn't have a clue or actually give a shite what time people finish as long as they get the work done and he gets his nice bonuses. He hasn't got a clue that Pegasus is making some walks 2.30 and others 5 hours, to him they're all the same.
RM won't introduce clocking in/out because it would ruin productivity just like banking of hours does. Despite what some on here seem to think nobody is going to run around so they can go back to the office for more work - which brings us full circle again, if RM want to pile more collapsing onto us then fine, I won't use the car and they won't get it done.
