Not in my office, every full timer takes the same on collapsing days - only exceptions are if someone gets a bulk posting on their walk.
As I said I'm sure it's very nice in your office and RM will never try to increase your workload Simples
If they do and it's an unreasonable amount to finish without using a car then i'll stop using it and cut off. Yes, it really is simples.

I'm not trying to wind anyone up, but the simple FACT is that I take no extra work because I use a car, and maybe I have good managers but they fully acknowledge the fact that we make time because of using them - banking of hours was tried in my office and everyone stopped using cars, result was hardly anyone banked many hours and the scheme was scrapped.

Any manager with half a brain knows you get more productivity if there is a carrot at the end. When Crozier said last night he wants posties to work 'all the hours they are paid' he was directly relating to what he'd just said about London refusing to accept Pegasus reviews, and said the rest of the country was already doing it - he doesn't have a clue or actually give a shite what time people finish as long as they get the work done and he gets his nice bonuses. He hasn't got a clue that Pegasus is making some walks 2.30 and others 5 hours, to him they're all the same.

RM won't introduce clocking in/out because it would ruin productivity just like banking of hours does. Despite what some on here seem to think nobody is going to run around so they can go back to the office for more work - which brings us full circle again, if RM want to pile more collapsing onto us then fine, I won't use the car and they won't get it done.

How strange that I missed this post TBT - it conjures up lurid images I must say - hope they don't all look like "Butler". :whistle

You may not believe this but in my last few weeks prior to demob I was stationed in the UK and my immediate commander was the spitting image of Blakey - I swear to god he could have been his twin brother - his role demanded the wearing of a peaked cap and although khaki only added to the image. He had been on the D day landings and was a bit of a div.

In fact the car users are having extra pouches dropped off because it all can't fit in their car.

There's a moral here somewhere.
That car deliveries are efficient :Very Happy but not efficient enough for Royal Mail to provide ue all with cars  .
