i like that idea, as it cost the company a shed load in wasted managers time.

Yet the posties dont lose out on a days wages.

Although to be fair the managers probably didnt have anything else to do anyways

No NO NO Your forgetting all the important jobs they have like"make coffee" then "drink coffee" then walk to shop to buy newspaper followed by "read newspaper". Then walk to bakers to buy cheese roll bring it back to office make another coffee, swap read newspaper with another manager and read, eat and drink then go sit on the bank for 15 min smoking a fag etc etc etc etc finally go home 1 and 1/2 hours before the posties finish :left: Oh and bank thier £80 p/w bonus :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

SW London asked intially for 6 days of strike action this week but it was clear that most offices would only be striking for two days this week and four day weeks offices 3 days which due to their rotates meant everyone lost two days pay. As is the law we have to withdraw those offices who are not taking strike action the day before the action and Royal Mail" comms failed on this occasion and a load of managers turned up only to find the office not on stike that day.
