is it true aload of offices in south west london cancelled there strikes today after a load of managers were shipped up there i read it on Royal Mails intranet. If that is true that is bloody clever

i like that idea, as it cost the company a shed load in wasted managers time.
Yet the posties dont lose out on a days wages.
Although to be fair the managers probably didnt have anything else to do anyways

LONDON STRIKES CANCELLED
Can someone confirm that certain offices in London today cancelled their action and if so why ?

No NO NO Your forgetting all the important jobs they have like"make coffee" then "drink coffee" then walk to shop to buy newspaper followed by "read newspaper". Then walk to bakers to buy cheese roll bring it back to office make another coffee, swap read newspaper with another manager and read, eat and drink then go sit on the bank for 15 min smoking a fag etc etc etc etc finally go home 1 and 1/2 hours before the posties finishrevilo88 wrote:i like that idea, as it cost the company a shed load in wasted managers time.

Ok mate it was a manager who told me that some of the london offices had cancelled their action.

Some parts of SW lon are striking on different days,well,they are having 2 to 3 days strikes this week some of them.

SW London asked intially for 6 days of strike action this week but it was clear that most offices would only be striking for two days this week and four day weeks offices 3 days which due to their rotates meant everyone lost two days pay. As is the law we have to withdraw those offices who are not taking strike action the day before the action and Royal Mail" comms failed on this occasion and a load of managers turned up only to find the office not on stike that day.
