being able to chat to a customer for a few mins rather than give them there letters and run to the next house.
its not so good being pushed to the limit.
Lucky you, on my delivery only contract, I only ever have around 2 hours left to do a four hour delivery. And then get bollocking for 'cutting off all the time' as they put it.uprising95 wrote:the time we get out the office
there's about 4 our before our time is up.
its clever how they worked the times
so we have to complete
but in those 4 hour you have to give it all you have got to get done for your time
no time for anything apart for work lol
Only possible if in the unlikely event that you did not advise them you were unable to complete, and you did not advise a manager where you had left the excess mail.GAZZA588 wrote:WHEN I CUT OFF FROM MY DELIVERY.I WAS TAKEN INTO THE OFFICE THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD I HAD WILLFUL DELAYED THE MAIL.

Back to the DO for a break, sort the prelim, sort the final mail, finished 2nd delivery for 12noon.
Everybody happy.

My customers like me as they see me as a traditional postman who knows their name (so they get their mail and not someone else's with the same door number, or someone who doesn't live there any more) and always has time to chat. OK, I don't go out of my way to engage someone in conversation but, when I do chat, it's not a five-second thing. Anyway isn't it good PR?tmac wrote:why are you running? i still talk to customers then if i cant get round cut off
