When are you f***ing selfish lazy ARSEHOLES going to realise that we ALL have s**t jobs and we ALL wish we had higher wages? Life isn't fair, get the f**k over it and bring people what they've paid you to bring, they're depending on you, why should people suffer just because your bosses are just as cuntish as every other money grabbing bastard in the world?

It's not my f***ing fault.

Why didn't you just walk down to the chemist and get your own medicine?

Plus, because we aren't having a national strike then the managers are responsible for delivering specials (phone your local DO and ask them for it).

As long as he don't use a RM elastic band, that would'nt be up to the job.

We might not like how 'postless wonder' chooses to express his strong opinions, but I think regular posters on this site need to realise that a lot of the general public do NOT buy the argument that we are striking to defend a public service. There were two anti-Postman letters published in thelondonpaper.com this week expressing similar strong dissatisfaction with interruptions to deliveries.

Jockstrapp, your flippant reply only reinforces those people's stereotypical view of postmen being arrogant sods who don't really giving a sh!t about the very customers whose service they claim to be protecting.

The widely-held and somewhat smug view on here that the majority of the public are 'with us' in the fight against major changes to working practices does not hold up to comments I've heard in the pub last night when a news report on local TV mentioned another 1-day strike. A hell of a lot of people have been put out of work in this recession and I can tell you some of them are, at best, apathetic to our plight. And some, like this guy, are really p!ssed off at us coming out on strike

i have to say ,i couldnt give a four x for my mail recipiants or the people paying.couldnt give a toss, doesnt mean i wont do the job im payed for to the best of my ability and with a polite smile everytime some idiot asks me a repetative stupid question.like as im delivering the mail,oh thought you were on strike(all frickin week)or have you collected yet,or how do i get to france.what i do expect is royal mail to expect me to do my job only during my contracted part time hours and abide by agreements that they got by us givin up even better terms and conditions.as for the muppet and his medicine.i think its been said.go to your local frickin chemist before you put them out of a job as well

 Do not understand this rant at all--medicines can be delivered through you chemist, especially ih he is unable to go himself, also all towns have voluntary services where your 'Drugs' would be delivered by a volunteer.
Never herd of health centres sending out drugs--only prescriptions.Only herbal remedies from private companies!!!
Get well soon. O.P.

linkinpark wrote:The poster never said they were waiting for drugs to be sent to his / her door, and although i dont know for sure extra drugs are sent ONLY to a chemist by SD as i get them about Once a month or so and if the chemist f*cked up maybe they ran out? The point still remains not One member of a picket would turn down such a delivery and i would be very happy to come off a picket and make such a delivery as would ALL DECENT MEMBERS of the CWU! I still believe the poster was a TROLL taking the p*ss but I AND ALL MY FELLOW WORKERS in our office WOULD MAKE SUCH A DELIVERY STRIKE OR NO!
they do get sent to poples homes.
i used to deliver to a guy who got them every week. he was a bit of a psycho (thats what the drugs were for!!) so he gt his delivery first on drugs day!!
