Also under the van sharing every duty was cutting off daily now under the old ways most of the walks are getting finished. JOB AND FINISH IS ALIVE AND KICKING AND NOT MANY WORK THE HOURS THEY ARE PAID. But as I have said in previous posts the incompetance of this management beggers belief.

Is it really worth using your own Car, to get Home a bit earlier in the short term?
Don't forget. RM have a NATIONAL Agreement, allowing them to make you do "other meaningful work", to keep you busy until you've worked all your hours.
I know that they're letting you finish early now. But that's because it's the only way that they can get the Deliveries completed in time. It won't be too long, before they reduce the number of FT Duties (EVR and/or Buy Down). Then you will have more work to do, and woking to your time, even WITH your cars. Despite the fact that you've already proved that it's impossible to complete your existing workloads without them.
Does RM pay towards your Petrol/Diesel, Servicing, Depreciation, Tyres, Brake Pads, etc., etc.. No. Have you any idea how much you loose each year in depreciation alone?
Do you all follow procedure (risk assessment, letter to your Insurance Company, etc.?). If not. You won't be covered by RM's Bond. Which means that unless you've paid for your own Business Insurance, you aren't covered. And risk 6 Points on your license, and will be personally liable for any claims if you have an accident. Including any compensation claims for injuries.
Even if you DO follow procedure. Unless you pay for your own Business Insurance, you're only covered 3rd Party. So if your car is broken into, stolen, catches fire, or otherwise damaged, wihout you being able to claim of someone elses Insurance. You don't get a penny. Which is particularly serious, if you've taken out a loan/HP to pay for it. You could potentially be paying for a written off car, for years.
