Royal Mail employees who help in this forum.

Post by POSTMAN »

As it says on the site we are here to help our customers, and many thanks to those who do.
Please be careful with your responses,we know what happens in the business but the customer does not need threads going off topic because we've got the hump with the way RM are at times.

So if you participate in this part of RMC,while it is much appreciated and a big help please help our customers as quickly and as informative as possible without sounding off and going off topic.

Thanks

RMC Team

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Update from Teebs.

1. Please also make your response polite.
2. Do not use expletives.
3. Do not abuse the customers even if they are in your opinion abusing postal workers.

All posts that fall foul of these rules will be amended or deleted. In extreme cases members will be warned officially and banned where appropriate. We are trying to make this a resource for Customers as well as Workers. Ideally customers will be given advice and guidance without spin, and from the shop floor instead of by customer advisor's who probably are not allowed off script and are not allowed to use their common sense.

Bumped this as a reminder to RMCers who help in this forum.
There are a lot of stressed customers coming on,they are obviously unaware how the company pipeline works and quite frankly the business is in a mess anyway without the bad weather as you know.
Please be tactful.

Please note,DO NOT give out the internal personnel only email to customers as it is for us only.
The email i am talking about is in the same vein as ask.adam/allan.

Thanks

Bumped.

From some of the recent posts it appears some need reminding of the guidelines.

If you are going to help out in the customer forum please read and follow the guidance above.

We are more strict in here than anywhere else because this section is where a breach of RMC rules could mean a conduct case and possible dismissal for bringing Royal Mail into disrepute, more so because of the recent guide sent out by Royal Mail.

Ultimately you are responsible for what you post, not RoyalMailChat, and we can do nothing if a Manager prints of one of your comments and uses it as evidence against you. We are a public site and you should bear that in mind.
