Just to jump in but WiFi security depends on your locality. A sleepy village your probably safe and secure with basic protection but in a Large City or Town you are asking for trouble. I always prefer the belt and braces approach. Its always better to be too secure than not secure enough in whatever situation you find yourself in.

On Topic - I have flats of both types on my round - 1 block of 12 has 1 delivery point and I leave it there, another 2 blocks of 6 each have individual letter boxes on each flat (along with one on entrance) and was instructed on training that I should deliver to each flat as they are registered as a separate addresses - this may be the deciding point.

im the opposite side of the coin.even in this sleepy little town some people come to the door having locked and bolted up their front door .cant find the keys.
if their was a fire they would be dead.no two ways about it.and all because they've been gulable enough to think the buggy mans the other side trying to get in and steal their harry potter dvd collection..living in fear isnt living at all.if i come a cropper ,my views may change but until that time my doors will stay unlocked my car unlocked and my wifi unprotected .

Off topic: That's why we have things such as bolts, which don't require a key, but prevent unauthorised access while you sleep.

On topic: If I was living in a Flat, and the Mail kept being delivered through a letterbox in the shared entrance. I'd be strait on to the Landlord (or whoever's in charge of such things), to have that Letterbox sealed up. So that the Mail would HAVE to be delivered to my private Letterbox.
