Basic pay ?

How much is basic pay now ( not London ) ?

Just wondering cos i buy extra annual leave ( 6 weeks in total ) and wanted to work out roughly what it costs me.

My basic is £337

£347.61 sound's about right as it is 3% or abouts less.

Have you been in the job for less than fifteen years if not you should pay less as you would get five weeks and 1 day basic holiday entitlement.

Nearly 5 years... not bad considering i only took the job as something to tide me over !!!

I think its well worth the cost of the extra leave, this job can physically ( and mentally sometimes ) wear you down, so regular time off is a god-send.

Well - 2006 we got in Jul/Aug backdated to April

2007 we got in October - and not backdated

2008 was agreed in 2007 Pay and Mod agreement and was less than the rate of inflation but still we did not get till june.

So based on past experience if we get one it will not be agreed till September but won't be paid till Christmas :Very Happy

costs almost nothing to buy extra annual leave as it is taken off pre tax so less deductions weekly...everyone should be advised to do it
