Have you been in the job for less than fifteen years if not you should pay less as you would get five weeks and 1 day basic holiday entitlement.savo wrote:Thanks bud

Re: Basic pay ?
Nearly 5 years... not bad considering i only took the job as something to tide me over !!!
I think its well worth the cost of the extra leave, this job can physically ( and mentally sometimes ) wear you down, so regular time off is a god-send.

Re: Basic pay ?
Well - 2006 we got in Jul/Aug backdated to Aprilcampostie64 wrote:TALKING ABOUT BASIC PAY,WHEN ARE WE LIKELY TO HEAR ABOUT A PAY INCREASE ?
2007 we got in October - and not backdated
2008 was agreed in 2007 Pay and Mod agreement and was less than the rate of inflation but still we did not get till june.
So based on past experience if we get one it will not be agreed till September but won't be paid till Christmas

Re: Basic pay ?
costs almost nothing to buy extra annual leave as it is taken off pre tax so less deductions weekly...everyone should be advised to do it
